The entrance is the door a courier should actually walk to. The path is the route from the road to that door.

These two are the core of Happypath. Every other asset is helpful context — an entrance with a path is what turns an address into a delivery that works first try.

What counts as an entrance

The entrance couriers should use for deliveries to that address — usually the main door, or a goods entrance where one is signposted for deliveries.

Main entrance: the door residents and visitors normally use.
Goods delivery: a separate delivery door, loading bay, or service entrance.
Backdoor or garage: only when it is genuinely the delivery route.
Add a second entrance rather than moving the first if both are in use.

How to place one

In the Companion app, tap “Add an entrance”, then pan the map so the marker sits on the door itself. Do this while you are standing there — the satellite view alone hides which side the door is on.

Put the marker on the door, not on the wall or the pavement.
Check the address it attaches to before saving; override it if wrong.
Add a photo — it is the highest-scoring contribution of all.
Then draw the path straight away, while the walk is still fresh.

How to draw the path

The path starts at the entrance and runs out to the road, so it always leads a courier in the direction they arrive from. Add one point per turn — a path is a route, not a tracing of the pavement.

The first point is the door; it is placed for you.
Add a point at each turn, gate, stair, or courtyard opening.
Finish where you left the vehicle or reached the street.
Two points is enough for a straight walk-up.
